John is a junior Mechanical Engineering major from Aurora, NE. He enjoys experimenting with electronics and small circuits. He can often be found in the gym, playing soccer, making music or chowing down on some lasagna!
Michael is a senior Physics and Mathematics double major with a passion for engineering. He's from Scottsbluff, NE, and outside of working or studying he can often be found exercising, playing Destiny or making his own games. He loves music, learning new things, and podcasts by the McElroy brothers.
All our AXP Mentors come from the Aerospace eXperimental Payload sub-team of the Aerospace Club at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. They are a dedicated group of university students who lead our weekly meetings, reach out to sponsors, and lead the planning and building of our CubeSat.
Joel is a junior Computer and Electrical Engineering double major and Engineering Leadership minor from Blair, NE. He holds leadership positions with AXP, Engineers without Borders, and the Engineering Student Advisory Board. He enjoys long-distance running, working on personal projects, and supporting STEM outreach.
Alyssa is a Junior Math and Physics double major from Kingston, Jamaica. She joined the BRS team because she enjoys sharing her knowledge with the younger students as well as getting to watch them grow through the learning process. In her free time, Alyssa loves to listen to music and dance around while she cares for her plants.
Mj is a senior Sports Media & Communications major and a Math minor from Rogers, MN. She is a huge hockey fan whose favorite team is YOUR Minnesota Whitecaps. In her free time she enjoys watching movies, baking, doing arts and crafts, and reading every fiction book she can find.
